Terms of Service
These draft terms describe ClaimPiper’s help with cancellation, charge-dispute, and refund requests, and the permissions required before case correspondence is prepared or sent.
What ClaimPiper does
ClaimPiper helps organize the information you provide about a subscription cancellation, a charge you want reviewed, or a refund you want to request. Depending on what the app and the named company support, it may help prepare factual correspondence and use an available company contact channel for that case.
In the current app, a case conversation or saved draft does not contact a company. ClaimPiper cannot place or handle calls and cannot complete or submit an external company web form. A company email can be sent only when the company inbox is connected and the required case-specific permissions and separate email authorization are active. If those checks or the channel are unavailable, sending stays paused.
Case-specific, non-financial permission
Before ClaimPiper acts for a case, you must grant the relevant permission in the app. That permission is limited to the case and actions you select: contacting the company named in that case about your request, preparing factual and non-financial correspondence from information you provided, and submitting that correspondence only to a verified company email address and the exact purpose you separately authorize. Email submission requires both the case permission and that separate recipient-and-purpose authorization.
You can revoke case permission or the email authorization at any time through the case controls. After revocation, ClaimPiper must not take new actions under that permission. Revocation cannot recall a message already sent. Permission for one case, recipient, or purpose does not authorize actions for another.
You control every financial decision
Case permission is not permission to make a financial decision or commitment for you. You retain control of every financial decision and action, including the amount claimed, any charge or payment, the amount of any refund, settlement, or credit, whether to accept an offer, and whether to agree to a waiver. ClaimPiper will not use case permission to choose or accept a financial outcome or initiate a charge or payment on your behalf.
One success fee
ClaimPiper’s one-time success fee is 27% of the total amount actually recovered + applicable taxes. Submitting a case request does not trigger a charge. There is no registration fee.
No promised outcome or legal representation
ClaimPiper cannot control a company’s response, timing, policies, or decision. A company may refuse, delay, or not respond to a cancellation, dispute, or refund request. No cancellation, charge reversal, refund, recovery, or other result is assured. ClaimPiper provides case-organization and correspondence assistance, not legal advice, and does not act as your lawyer or legal representative.
These terms do not promise to prevent legal proceedings or guarantee that any person or organization complies with the law.
